Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum (APrIGF) — www.aprigf.asia — has been held annually since initiated in 2010 in Hong Kong. DotAsia has played an important role in bringing together the different stakeholders in the region to spearhead this regional event, and continues to provide secretariat support to coordinate the efforts. The APrIGF serves as a platform for aggregating IGF related discussions and collaborations at the regional level which ultimately advances the Internet governance development in Asia Pacific. With the leadership from NetMission Ambassadors, the Youth IGF Camp (www.yigf.asia) has also become an integral part of the annual event.

Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum (APrIGF) is one of the key regional initiatives on Internet governance which provides an open platform for multi-stakeholders to discuss and identify issues and priorities, and ultimately advances the development of Internet governance in the Asia Pacific region as well as bring forward and contribute to the wider global Internet community. Our community has grown significantly since initiated in 2010 and we are now bringing together over 300 multi-stakeholders across the region every year to advance the Internet governance development. In addition, our effort in engaging the next generation on the Internet governance discussions is also well recognised with the Youth IGF being held in parallel.
With the mandate of supporting the Internet development in Asia, DotAsia has been serving as the Secretariat for the Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum (APrIGF) since the beginning of the initiative.
