DotAsia joins the core Secretariat group for the Technical Community Coalition for Multistakeholderism (TCCM). Along with NIC Costa Rica, and Public Interest Registry, DotAsia has now joined auDA, CIRA, InternetNZ, and Nominet as part of the core Secretariat building coordination and cooperation among members of the technical community in our approach to ongoing and upcoming UN-led internet governance processes.

The TCCM has launched a Statement of Purpose, and has been engaged with key processes such as the ongoing Global Digital Compact consultations.

DotAsia Organisation is a strong supporter of the multistakeholder approach to Internet Governance. As part of the Technical Community and also the facilitator and secretariat of many Internet governance capacity building initiatives for the Asia-Pacific region (Netmission.asia, APrIGF.asia, APIGA), championing the bottom-up multistakeholder processes and way of governance is coded into our DNA. DotAsia’s strategic plan envisages facilitating and amplifying voices from APAC, and joining the TCCM aligns with our vision and mission to serve global Internet governance community needs and support regional and global Internet governance initiatives.
