Introduction

The 17th Asia Pacific Next Generation (APNG) Camp was successfully held from March 13 to 16, 2025, at the Iizuka Campus of Kyushu Institute of Technology (KyuTech) in Fukuoka, Japan. The APNG Camp serves as a platform for future Internet leaders across the Asia-Pacific region to engage with experts from various sectors. The event fosters meaningful discussions, collaboration, and multidisciplinary research focused on digital society and emerging opportunities.

Fostering Trust Using AI, Blockchain, and Web3

The central theme of this year’s camp focused on trust in the digital era, particularly concerning the role of AI, Blockchain, and Web3 technologies in fostering a reliable and secure online environment. The discussion, presentations and workshops emphasized how these emerging technologies can contribute to social and inclusive trust within the Asia-Pacific region.
